Job Summary

Perform a variety of duties on construction and paving projects in a utility role, transferring tasks as demands require. Ensure safe operations by following safety policies and OSHA/MSHA requirements, using appropriate tools and equipment. Assist construction/paving crews with labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, wheelbarrow work, and safely backing/dumping trucks into a paver. Support traffic control setup and maintain regular attendance.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures and using appropriate tools and equipment.
•Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures; report issues to appropriate leaders.
•Assist construction/paving crews with duties such as shoveling and raking, running wheelbarrows, and safely backing/dumping trucks into a paver.
•Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials placement.
•Assist with placement, moving, and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices.
