Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all team members and adhere to SQDC metrics.
  • •Align, position, and fit components into fixtures as instructed; set up a gas-shielded MIG welder and weld parts to specifications.
  • •Read blueprints and welding symbols to complete tasks and use hand tools, clamps, and grinders for job duties.
  • •Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and monitor/adjust a robotic welder to ensure quality throughout the run.
  • •Maintain 5S standards, meet quality and productivity goals, and complete inventory paperwork and computer transactions when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • •Demonstrated skill level of wire feed (M.I.G.) welding.
  • •Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols and use measurements (e.g., tape measure).
  • •Ability to use an oxygen/acetylene cutting torch.
  • •Ability to read and understand work order instructions and lay out parts using weld fixtures.
