Key Responsibilities

•Conduct testing and material investigations within the Columbus Forge manufacturing facility.
•Review engineering documentation to ensure required quality assurance and customer provisions/criteria are included.
•Serve as an issue-resolution focal point with engineering, customer service support, and operations to drive continuous improvement.
•Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and improvement opportunities.
•Prepare clear, concise reports related to non-conformances, product returns, supplier issues, customer complaints, and corrective action requests.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience in an engineering, manufacturing, materials science or metallurgical environment, or a Master’s degree and 3+ years in a related environment.
•Experience working with internal and external customer requirements to resolve findings.
•Understand and interpret engineering technical data to guide cross-functional teams.
•Knowledge of document control and calibration systems; ability to query data from database systems.
•Experience interpreting manufacturing drawings.
