Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive engineering projects to completion with a focus on business impact and urgency.
  • •Execute new backend ideas quickly and effectively, and support other teams and engineers.
  • •Collaborate with applied scientists to connect and implement machine learning algorithms within backend systems.
  • •Build product experiences by partnering with mobile and frontend engineers to solve customer-facing problems.
  • •Work cross-functionally with Product and Design to plan and execute engineering projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • •3+ years of industry experience working on backend development.
  • •Fluency in at least one major programming language, and ability to switch between multiple languages (Go, Scala, and Python).
  • •Experience building software using databases (e.g., Postgres, DynamoDB).
  • •Experience building APIs for full-fledged products and integrating machine learning models into backend infrastructures.
