Key Responsibilities

•Provide comprehensive orthopedic care, including pre- and post-operative care and orthopedic procedures within competence.
•Perform OPD and out-patient orthopedic duties, and provide consultation services to physicians and other surgeons/specialists as required.
•Assume after-hours responsibility for admitted orthopedic cases, conduct daily rounds, and maintain accurate records of assigned cases.
•Ensure compliance with clinical governance, medical department bylaws/rules, and Joint Commission accreditation standards; monitor and manage clinical risks.
•Coordinate supporting services (e.g., Nursing, Operations Support, Pathology, Radiology) and comply with occupational safety, PCI, and infection prevention requirements.

Key Requirements

•Qualified and licensed medical practitioner.
•At least 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience at consultant level (independent of country).
•At least 1 year consultant level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
•Basic medical degree and completion of higher education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
•Certification and registration in a speciality recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority, plus active life support certification (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
