Key Responsibilities

•Own and establish the goals, outcomes, and strategy for the SEO/AEO team, aligning with department and organizational objectives to drive measurable results.
•Build and sustain a high-performing team culture — fostering efficiency, iteration, and collaboration.
•Develop team members' capabilities through ongoing coaching, mentorship, and guidance — helping them grow business acumen, cross-functional partnership skills, and channel expertise.
•Identify opportunities for improvement within the team's domain, leveraging industry knowledge to evaluate and resolve operational issues and optimize processes.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, content, growth product, and engineering teams to ensure SEO/AEO recommendations are implemented effectively and aligned with broader marketing strategy.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of SEO experience, including 2+ years leading or managing an SEO team.
•Experience setting team-level goals and OKRs aligned with broader organizational objectives.
•Proven ability to influence cross-functional peers and senior stakeholders by translating SEO insights into business language and building alignment.
•Track record of building high-performing teams—hiring, setting expectations, giving feedback, and developing talent.
•Experience driving high-performance culture and team health across distributed or remote teams.
