Key Responsibilities

  • •Advocate for clients during coverage disputes and protect client interests throughout the claims process.
  • •Obtain claim details, triage and report claims to insurers, and guide clients on preparing claims.
  • •Administer claims including following up on settlements/claim status, remitting settlements, and handling correspondence.
  • •Monitor large losses, attend loss sites, and negotiate with insurers to achieve successful claim resolution.
  • •Provide consultative claims advice to clients and collaborate with Account Management/Broker teams; set claims protocols and coordinate adjusting services RFPs.

Key Requirements

  • •7-10 years of experience working in a commercial claims environment.
  • •Insurer or broker experience.
  • •Completion of/working towards CIP/FCIP designation (AB) and an AB adjusting license (preferred), or must acquire within 3 months of employment along with licensing in other jurisdictions as required.
  • •Strong claims knowledge in professional lines, casualty claims, and/or property claims.
  • •Demonstrated conflict resolution, analytical, negotiation, relationship management, and presentation skills; highly organized and able to manage competing demands.
