Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, grow, and retain a multi-region, matrixed cloud operations organization for Dublin and globally, including hiring plans, performance management, and succession.
  • •Establish follow-the-sun operating rhythms across EMEA, NAM, and APAC, including handovers, on-call rotations, incident command, and escalation paths.
  • •Own developer-facing quality of cloud services, including onboarding time, provisioning latency, self-service coverage, and golden-path adoption.
  • •Drive cloud automation and reliability engineering across AWS and Azure, including provisioning/configuration, patching/scaling, failover, cost optimization, compliance evidence collection, and run cost modeling with FinOps.
  • •Enable AI/GenAI operations on the cloud platform by designing agentic SRE workflows with governance, safety guardrails, human-in-the-loop controls, evaluation models, and runbook data foundation.

Key Requirements

  • •Substantial experience leading cloud operations, SRE, or platform engineering at enterprise scale, including managing multi-region teams and managers.
  • •Strong hands-on technical grounding in both AWS and Azure, including networking, identity, containers/orchestration (Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform), CI/CD, and observability.
  • •Expert or Professional-level AWS certification and Expert-level Azure certification; both clouds required.
  • •Practical experience delivering or operating AI/ML or GenAI workloads in cloud, including applying LLM/agentic tooling to operational problems.
  • •Track record of measurably improving developer/builder experience using metrics, plus strong incident leadership and follow-up.
