Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead cross-discipline Project Controls teams on medium risk/complexity/value programmes, or support teams on higher risk/complexity/value programmes.
  • •Define project scope using exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, and dependencies, and coordinate scope decomposition to establish a Work Breakdown Structure.
  • •Establish and manage a robust Performance Measurement Baseline with Integrated Project Team and support change control.
  • •Analyze performance data (including Earned Value Management) to provide insight and facilitate delivery decisions; support delivery recovery planning.
  • •Ensure governance and quality of Project Controls outputs, including integration and alignment of scope, cost, risk, and schedule; mentor and coach team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Be a Sole UK National and able to achieve and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC).
  • •Deliver projects in highly regulated sectors such as defence or infrastructure, and have experience across a significant part of the project lifecycle.
  • •Have Project Controls experience across two or more disciplines (planning/scheduling, cost estimation, cost control, risk management, performance reporting) and their associated software/tools.
  • •Demonstrate a good understanding of how Integrated Project Controls disciplines operate and make risk-based decisions in unclear environments.
  • •Hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant technical or management field (or equivalent qualifications/experience) and be a member of a relevant professional body (e.g., Association for Project Management or Project Management Institute).
