Provide regional legal support across multiple SEA jurisdictions, advising on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, governance, dispute resolution and risk management to enable infrastructure projects and business growth in Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide legal advice and guidance on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and dispute resolution across SEA jurisdictions.
•Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including consultancy agreements, joint ventures, and procurement contracts.
•Handle pre-litigation and litigation matters, including managing external counsel and advising on dispute resolution strategies.
•Monitor and interpret changes in laws and regulations across SEA countries, ensuring compliance and advising on their impact on business operations.
•Assist in corporate secretarial duties, including maintaining statutory records, filings, and board-related activities for SEA entities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university
•5–8 years post-qualification experience in private practice and as corporate legal counsel, preferably with 3 years in private practice within the engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors in Southeast Asia
•Strong understanding of commercial law, contract law, and regulatory compliance
•Excellent negotiation and communication skills
•Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
