Key Responsibilities

  • •Align tanks, ships, barges, and pipelines for product transfer in and out of storage tanks and across transportation modes (barge, ship, tank car, rail car).
  • •Sample and tag product movements, store samples, and review product data sheets prior to handling customer products.
  • •Prepare accurate and complete documentation for all product movements.
  • •Operate valves, pumps, and gauging systems during product handling operations.
  • •Perform other duties as assigned, following established standards, special customer requirements, and inventory control procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid driver’s license to operate pick-up to and from the tank farm.
  • •Must be able to climb frames up to 100 feet and lift 50 lbs, while wearing required PPE (steel toes, goggles, respirators).
  • •Basic use of mechanical tools and knowledge of measuring devices such as gauging tapes, thermometers, and tape measures.
  • •Knowledge of basic computer skills including Excel, Word, Microsoft Office, and Outlook (Windows-based programs).
  • •Ability to pass probationary training tests and a basic skill math test (fractions, percentages, decimals, word problems, basic mechanics).
