Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain GitLab CI/CD (or comparable) pipelines for enterprise applications across validation, testing, packaging, deployment, promotion, rollback, and post-release verification.
  • •Develop reusable release automation and scripts using scripting languages such as Python to reduce manual release work.
  • •Use approved AI-assisted engineering tools (such as Claude) daily to accelerate pipeline development, scripting, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and release analysis.
  • •Define CI/CD patterns and environment promotion strategies for platforms such as Salesforce, Zuora, and other business systems, including configuration management and deployment sequencing.
  • •Investigate failed deployments, lead root-cause analysis, implement durable corrective actions, and improve release observability with dashboards, metrics, change records, notifications, and operational reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
  • •7+ years of experience in release engineering, DevOps, or a related discipline.
  • •Release and deployment experience for enterprise SaaS applications such as Salesforce and Zuora.
  • •Strong hands-on experience designing and operating GitLab CI/CD or comparable CI/CD pipelines in production.
  • •Proficiency in at least one scripting language (such as Python) and experience with AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude or comparable).
