Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
•Perform minor adjustments and repairs across electrical, brake, cooling, diesel steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, and related systems.
•Diagnose, adjust, and repair equipment using inspection, testing, and diagnostic techniques; perform road tests as needed.
•Manage parts inventory and equipment on a company-issued service truck, including reconciliation.
•Document work by completing repair orders and DOT forms; upload photos and findings using an iOS device and the TRAIT application, while following OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience (or an alternative combination such as additional degree/certification or 5 years related experience).
•Supply a set of hand tools necessary for the role.
•Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
•Successfully complete and pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and a DOT physical prior to employment.
•Hold a current and valid DOT medical card (or be able to complete a DOT physical if the card has 4 months or less remaining).
