Key Responsibilities

  • •Stay hands-on in the codebase by writing production code, reviewing PRs, and tackling critical complex/ambiguous problems.

  • •Coach and grow engineers via pairing, mentoring, and unblocking while fostering accountability, autonomy, and learning.
  • •Lead end-to-end delivery by balancing speed with technical quality and championing scalable design principles.
  • •Drive technical and product strategy alignment, including engineering execution and architecture that scales technically and operationally.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional engineering experience with recent hands-on coding and 3+ years leading engineers as a hands-on technical lead/player-coach engineering manager.
  • •Ability to operate as a player/coach, comfortably splitting time between shipping code and leading people.
  • •Track record scaling complex software systems at high-growth SaaS companies or startups as a direct contributor.
  • •Deep, current technical skills to reason about architecture and debug hard problems independently.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
