Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and advise on client EHS culture and support implementation of EHS procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • •Conduct daily EHS inspections to identify risks and non-compliance with regulations, policies, and contractor safety plans.
  • •Review hazard analyses and determine whether additional controls are needed to reduce incident/injury risk.
  • •Review contractor safety plans and safety records, documentation of training/certifications, equipment certification, and EHS metrics.
  • •Respond to incidents, participate in investigations, and review corrective actions; provide recommendations and subject matter expertise as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA in safety or related field plus 6+ years of construction safety (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Safety certification and familiarity with 29 CFR 1926.
  • •Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • •Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required.
  • •Ability to perform routine field inspections, prolonged walking/standing, and lift up to 25 pounds.
