Job Summary

Lead the organization’s energy sourcing and demand management strategy across North America, combining energy management, supplier strategy, and operational engagement. Oversee conservation and efficiency programs, manage global energy and water procurement projects, and negotiate commercial contracts such as PPAs and VPPAs. Partner cross-functionally with Sustainability, Facilities, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to drive measurement & verification, compliance, budgeting, reporting, and executive communication.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead energy strategy, performance, and operations, including conservation strategies, efficiency projects, and operational improvements.
•Manage global energy and water procurement projects from strategy through execution, serving as primary point of contact for strategic suppliers and utilities.
•Lead supplier qualification/performance evaluations and develop supplier strategies to optimize cost, supply reliability, and risk mitigation.
•Drive energy-related project pipelines (scoping, scheduling, budgeting) and provide risk assessments and oversight for complex energy projects.
•Manage budgets, forecasting, and regulatory/policy oversight; prepare performance reports and deliver executive-level updates and presentations.

•Strong background analyzing building systems (HVAC, lighting, controls) and utility data using energy performance metrics.
•Experience using energy modeling tools and M&V methodologies, plus energy/utility accounting software.
•Proven success in contract negotiation, supplier management, and category strategy development.
•Strong project management skills to lead multiple large-scale projects with minimal oversight.
