Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out maintenance on Merlin aircraft and components in line with published procedures.
  • •Coordinate and supervise Fitters, Fitters’ Mates and Apprentices, allocating daily workloads as directed by the OST Team Lead.
  • •Provide second-signature authorisation for your trade group when required.
  • •Conduct independent inspections where authorised iaw MAM(P).
  • •Support the OST Team Lead with operational performance, ensuring efficient, compliant delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •A Service Certificate of Competency or completion of the Serco Supervisory Management and Aircraft Documentation Course and CofC Board.
  • •Supervisory experience and strong working knowledge of Merlin aircraft systems, servicing and support equipment.
  • •Understanding of Airworthiness Engineering, Military Aviation Authority (MAA) requirements, and rotary wing aviation procedures.
  • •Experience with Naval Air Publications, C–IETP, project planning and Lean processes.
  • •Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet operational outputs.
