Key Responsibilities

  • •Support escalated incidents from lower support levels and respond to critical monitoring alerts (server alerts and system outages).
  • •Assess, implement, and troubleshoot complex VDI/app delivery virtualization projects using multiple technologies.
  • •Support complex Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft Hyper-V system configurations and standards.
  • •Develop repeatable standards, implementation processes, and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • •Drive high-severity incidents within scope, adhere to Change Management/ITIL processes, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of IT infrastructure technical implementation experience and 5+ years engineering/support experience with x86 technologies such as VMware, Microsoft, and Citrix.
  • •Advanced experience engineering and supporting highly available Citrix environments (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and/or Citrix DaaS); CCA highly preferred.
  • •3+ years of experience with Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • •Strong knowledge of Windows networking, Active Directory, and profile management, plus enterprise datacenter technologies (TCP/IP, SAN/NAS, networking, security).
  • •Basic knowledge of storage subsystems, server hardware fundamentals, and on-premise hypervisors including vSphere, XenServer, and Microsoft Hyper-V (VCA VMware Certified Associate highly preferred).
