Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end delivery of internal tools from idea and architecture through implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • •Translate operational/business problems into software from rough briefs rather than detailed specs.
  • •Build full-stack features (React/TypeScript frontend, Node.js/Express backend, PostgreSQL data layer) without handing off parts.
  • •Deploy and operate services on Google Cloud Platform and manage monitoring, incident response, and cybersecurity considerations.
  • •Collaborate with the Optimization Director and analysts, integrate systems via APIs/webhooks, and mentor/unblock engineers through PR reviews and workflow improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience shipping and supporting production systems.
  • •Strong JavaScript/TypeScript across the stack (React frontend, Node.js/Express backend).
  • •Proficiency in SQL with hands-on relational database experience, especially PostgreSQL.
  • •Real day-to-day fluency with AI coding agents, including shipping meaningful work with them.
  • •Ability to deliver end-to-end products without waiting for detailed requirements; based in Egypt or Jordan with the legal right to work there.
