Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply fundamental engineering principles and standard procedures to support design and analysis for civil and water resources projects.
  • •Assist with stormwater modeling and hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, including drainage design.
  • •Develop and modify engineering drawings, plans, profiles, sections, and details using Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • •Support floodplain management studies and water resources projects using hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and analysis.
  • •Perform engineering calculations and help prepare technical reports, exhibits, figures, and other project deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Familiarity with basic hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, and civil engineering principles.
  • •Experience with or coursework involving Civil 3D, GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or similar engineering software.
  • •Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • •EIT certification or plans to pursue the FE/EIT is preferred.
