Own the Manufacturing Test discipline across the full Dive-XL build stack, from PCBA bring-up and sub-assembly check-out through system check-out and vehicle factory acceptance testing. Key Responsibilities

•Define the AU Manufacturing Test discipline end-to-end (in-process testing, system check-out, FAT) across PCBA, bottle, and vehicle stages, setting acceptance criteria.
•Own the full test eco-system (PCBA test rigs, bring-up stations, system check-out benches, vehicle FAT test base, end-of-line testers), deciding what to build vs buy and what to converge with the US plant.
•Drive transition from rev-1 one-offs to a common, config-managed framework using a NixOS-based toolchain, GUI-first execution, a curated error-code library, and version-controlled procedures.
•Lead and grow the Manufacturing Test team.
•Partner with US and Quality on framework convergence and test-as-acceptance, including line-down response (diagnosis, leading fixes, documenting, and preventing recurrence).

Key Requirements

•Degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronic, Computer Engineering, or related field, with strong electrical and systems fundamentals (instrumentation, power systems, sensors/actuators, harnessing, PCBA-level debug).
•Prior experience building or substantially rebuilding a Manufacturing Test capability, with a test-strategy mindset across the build stack.
•Hands-on experience across the lifecycle: PCBA bring-up, board-level functional test, sub-assembly check-out, and system-level FAT (including ICT/FCT and environmental/RF testing).
•Ability to independently debug in Linux-based test environments by parsing logs, flashing builds, and isolating failure modes without escalating to SW for stack traces.
•Software fluency for test automation, including strong Python and comfort with LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++, or equivalent test-software stacks; plus day-to-day comfort with USB/Ethernet and interfaces like RS232/RS485, CAN, I2C, and SPI.
