Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for land development projects.
  • •Perform calculations for grading and drainage, stormwater control, water quality, domestic water distribution, and underground utilities.
  • •Coordinate design work to obtain local, state, and federal permits for land development and utility construction.
  • •Manage civil aspects of construction in the field, including quality control, conflict resolution, and coordination with a multi-discipline contractor team.
  • •Interact with contractors and internal clients to define requirements, schedule, and cost estimates; resolve design/construction conflicts in real time.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or another engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of professional experience in civil engineering design, analysis, and/or drafting.
  • •Proficiency in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, and grading/site development designs.
  • •Understanding of related disciplines such as electrical, piping, geotechnical, and surveying.
  • •EIT or Professional Engineering (PE) license.
