Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot VM-related issues, including performance degradation, snapshot growth, and virtual NIC connectivity problems.
•Manage VM lifecycle operations such as provisioning/deprovisioning and VM hardware modifications, including clone/template deployment support.
•Perform datastore-level analysis for space utilization, thin-provision monitoring, and datastore alerts/pathing checks.
•Troubleshoot ESXi/Hyper-V host warnings and alerts, and validate/support patching and upgrades.
•Assist with vCenter/cluster object management and permissions; troubleshoot vMotion/live migration failures and mentor G4 engineers.

Key Requirements

•2–3 years of experience in virtualization or NOC roles.
•Strong understanding of vSphere, Hyper-V host architecture, and virtual networking.
•Basic command-line knowledge, including ESXCLI and PowerShell/PowerCLI basics.
•Familiarity with HA/DRS, VM templates, snapshots, and virtual switches.
•Preferred: VMware VCP-DCV (Associate preferred).
