Key Responsibilities

•Write test plans to validate Arista features and products.
•Design test network topologies to validate functionality, performance, stability and scalability.
•Execute test plans to verify all aspects of the product and identify defects.
•Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team and contribute to automated test plans.
•Participate in functional specification and software design reviews, providing customer-centric input.

Key Requirements

•BS CS/CE/EE with 3+ years of networking experience; MS degree preferred
•At least 1 year of hands-on experience testing SONiC (manual testing strongly desired)
•Strong knowledge of SONiC architecture - SAI, FRR, Redis-DB, Docker and minigraph
•Hands-on experience with Linux and related technologies (virtualization, Kubernetes, etc.)
•Knowledge of Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF/IS-IS/BGP/QoS; familiarity with test tools like IXIA/Spirent is a plus
