Job Summary

Support the Electro-Optics department as an individual contributor, participating as a mentee while helping execute program activities. Work on optical alignment and testing, EO modeling/simulation/analysis, and requirements development with validation and subsystem trade studies. Assist with design of optical and opto-mechanical seeker systems and test fixtures, troubleshoot hardware/process issues, and support production assembly, documentation, issue resolution, and failure analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate as a mentee and individual contributor supporting program activities.
•Perform optical alignment/testing of optics assemblies.
•Conduct EO modeling, simulation, and analysis for requirements development and subsystem trade studies.

•Troubleshoot hardware and process issues, support production assembly/documentation, and lead failure analysis and corrective action implementation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related STEM major obtained prior to start.
•Experience with Electro-Optical subsystems.
•Ability to obtain and maintain an active, transferable U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start.
•U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
•Preferred: ABET accreditation (preferred, not required) and ability to develop and present technical briefings.
