Job Summary

Install, splice, and test fiber optic and copper cabling, and maintain and troubleshoot existing networks to keep services running. Configure and enable residential and small business telecom services including POTS, DSL/HSI, VDSL, and FTTH/GPON, and repair aerial, buried, and underground plant conditions. Read service orders and technical drawings, coordinate testing, document results, and work safely while occasionally supporting emergency repairs.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, splice, and test fiber optic and copper cables for projects, maintenance, and emergency repairs.
•Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fiber and copper networks by locating and resolving faults to ensure service continuity.
•Install, configure, and enable telecommunications services including POTS, HSI, VDSL, FTTH, and networking.
•Connect and manage wiring/cabling, terminals, and hardware attachments on customer premises, poles, and inside facilities.
•Read service orders and repair tickets, coordinate line testing, update documentation and service orders, and adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

Salary: USD 16.3 - 43.09 hourly

Key Requirements

•Ability to work varying shifts and hours, including possible mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays.
•Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; drive a company-provided vehicle.

•May require a CDL.
•May climb and work at elevations over 18 feet and possibly work in confined spaces; ability to lift and/or move objects over 75 pounds.
