Job Summary

Lead the Network Operations Team supporting federal clients’ networking, telecommunications, and firewall technologies. Drive real-time monitoring, proactive maintenance, incident detection and response, problem resolution, and network/firewall performance reporting across nationwide enterprise environments. Provide technical guidance, manage team priorities, and coordinate testing and analysis for network and firewall elements, while directing timely hardware and software remediation in a hybrid role with periodic on-site support.

•Plan, organize, and direct the Network Operations Team to ensure stable operation of network infrastructure.
•Maintain, support, and optimize network and firewall infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
•Manage monitoring and maintenance priorities for LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, and wireless; ensure effective response to hardware, software, and network problems.
•Coordinate routine testing and analysis of network and firewall elements and schedule activities to resolve hardware and software issues timely and accurately.

•10+ years of related experience in network infrastructure operations.

•Working knowledge of networking concepts and equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
•Experience implementing and administering an enterprise-wide monitoring system for servers, networking devices, and applications.
