Key Responsibilities

  • •Help define the future of Core Data architecture in the cloud and evolve systems toward it.
  • •Design approaches to address scale and observability challenges for the data tier.
  • •Develop services to identify, eliminate, and prevent data inconsistencies or corruptions.
  • •Provide guidance to client engineering teams on using near-real-time interfaces.
  • •Develop and implement initiatives to consistently meet availability, performance, and reliability SLOs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
  • •3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • •Strong understanding of common algorithms, data structures and code design principles.
  • •Strong grasp of high-scale distributed systems.
  • •Familiarity with Scala/Java, MySQL, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
