Job Summary

Develop next-generation RFICs for Starlink’s space and ground infrastructure, working with cross-disciplinary systems, firmware, architecture, design, validation, and product engineering teams. Design, simulate, and model RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits; derive RFIC subsystem specifications; perform floor planning and layout; characterize prototypes and full radio performance. Support automated test lab equipment and collaborate with manufacturing on production testing and qualification.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, simulate, and model RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems.
•Derive specifications for RFIC subsystems and circuits.
•Develop analog/mixed-signal/RF/microwave circuits in SiGe or CMOS processes.
•Partition functions between hardware and software with system architects, modem/DSP, and ASIC engineers.
•Perform IC floor planning/layout, model parasitics, and evaluate/characterize prototypes and radio performance; support automated test and production qualification.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
•2+ years of RF integrated circuit experience.
•Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering or computer engineering with emphasis in RF/analog/mixed-signal IC design.
•Experience using simulation tools such as Spectre, ADS, HFSS, or Momentum.
•Experience performing analysis and simulation of linear and non-linear circuits (e.g., phase-locked loops, modulators/demodulators, oscillators, mixers, filters, low-noise and power amplifiers).
