Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead electrical engineering and design of temporary power generation facilities from conceptual design through startup and commissioning.
  • •Design distribution systems and equipment (generators, switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, breakers, relays, and protective devices).
  • •Integrate and design BESS systems, including PCS, EMS, grid-support applications, and associated control components.
  • •Develop substation and DC control system designs (transformer selection, bus arrangements, grounding, protection/control schemes, station batteries/chargers, SCADA interfaces).
  • •Conduct electrical studies (load flow, short-circuit, relay coordination, arc flash, grounding, voltage drop) and support delivery through design reviews, procurement support, construction/commissioning, troubleshooting, and mentoring.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • •At least 10 years of electrical engineering experience in power generation, utility, industrial, or energy infrastructure projects.
  • •Extensive knowledge of medium- and low-voltage power systems, including DC control systems and station batteries.
  • •Experience designing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and associated control systems, plus substation protection and control systems and utility interconnections.
  • •Experience with electrical modeling software (e.g., ETAP, SKM PowerTools, EasyPower, AutoCAD Electrical) and a Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
