Key Responsibilities

  • •Prior to painting and insulation activities, review procedures and material data sheets for compliance with project specifications and site operational requirements.
  • •Instigate quality control checks and tests (e.g., surface preparation, dry film thickness, adhesion, temperature and humidity), maintaining records per ITP, method statements, and project specifications.
  • •Where applicable, supervise paint shop activities to ensure quality and compliance.
  • •Record approved modifications/corrections to piping line list paint and insulation codes on red-lined as-built line lists verified by field personnel.
  • •Drive delivery excellence by enforcing safe and ethical behavior, partnering with other disciplines and the client to anticipate project needs beyond immediate scope.

Key Requirements

  • •Vocation, Diploma, or a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or a related field.
  • •Minimum 10 years’ experience working in live plant, greenfield, and turnaround/revamp work for oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, power plants, or similar.
  • •Extensive track record managing painting/insulation construction activities within the oil & gas or petrochemical sector.
  • •Experience supervising construction staff to achieve effective construction execution.
  • •Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong written/verbal communication and coordination with all disciplines.
