Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare accurate electrical designs and design calculations, and develop budgets and tender specifications across the MV/LV and building services scope.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, coordinating actively within the design process.
  • •Complete projects from inception to close-out with limited input, ensuring on-time delivery and client satisfaction.
  • •Model SHEQ standards and contribute to identification of SHEQ risks to drive processes toward Zero Harm.
  • •Attend networking/client functions, set up fee/contract agreements, and manage internal project finances including hourly forecasting, WIP and invoicing.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum BSc Eng or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
  • •At least 7 years of consulting engineering experience within building services and/or industrial environments.
  • •Professional registration with ECSA (advantageous).
  • •Good knowledge of SANS10142-1&2, SANS10400 and SANS204 (among others).
  • •Knowledge and experience with Autodesk BIM software and electrical design software packages such as Relux/Dialux and ETAP (as applicable).
