Job Summary

Assist in developing and improving software applications for internal and client needs, including designing, writing, and maintaining application databases. Support analysis and updates to enhance functionality, fix issues, and adapt software for new hardware platforms. Participate in testing to ensure reliability, install applications, and act as a technical advisor. Collaborate with technical stakeholders and clients during design, while producing documentation and contributing to team/product review meetings.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with development of applications that meet client objectives and user needs.
•Design and write code for applications and maintain application databases.
•Analyze and edit existing applications to improve functionality, fix problems, and enable use on new hardware platforms.
•Support extensive testing to ensure applications are error and bug-free.
•Communicate with technical stakeholders and clients during design, and produce software documentation following company processes and templates.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
•Basic understanding of computer science, programming, and application design with user-focused features.
•Proficiency in writing software using Java and a standard object library.
•Knowledge of software development processes and agile development (Scrum).
•Basic experience with Linux/Unix and Windows, plus SQL experience.
