Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and supervise the delivery of high-quality evidence-based care; provide leadership and training for junior medical staff.
  • •Oversee clinical activities, ensure adherence to hospital policies for admissions, consultations, daily patient care, surgical procedures, discharge protocols, outpatient and follow-up practices.
  • •Lead ward rounds; reassess inpatients and outpatients regularly; ensure appropriate utilization of resources.
  • •Coordinate with other medical specialties and multidisciplinary teams; participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • •Provide on-call coverage and ensure adequate medical coverage within the Division; communicate effectively with patients and families.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a consultant or equivalent post-board certification.
  • •Minimum 8 years full-time employment as a Consultant or equivalent post-board certification (including years in fellowship training) in an internationally accredited institute.
  • •For UAE Nationals, clinical fellowship training may substitute for experience.
  • •Ability to lead and supervise clinical activities and provide training for junior medical staff.
  • •Must meet required qualifications as specified for the role (Special Certificate).
