Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and challenge Area financial performance across Sales, Material Margin, Opex, EBITDA, and ONWC, including escalation of risks and deviations.
  • •Serve as a quality gate for financial information reported from countries to Area, EMEA, and Group to ensure accuracy, consistency, and transparency.
  • •Act as primary finance partner and sparring partner to the Area Manager, challenging assumptions with fact-based, data-driven analysis and supporting initiatives.
  • •Provide functional leadership and technical guidance to local Finance Managers on accounting, controlling, governance topics, and complex financial/accounting/tax/audit matters.
  • •Oversee planning, forecasting, benchmarking, and compliance—support internal/external audits, ensure internal controls, and align with Group/EMEA governance requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • •10+ years of experience in finance, controlling, or financial management, ideally in an international/multi-country environment.
  • •Proven track record in regional or area financial leadership roles, preferably in matrix organizations.
  • •Strong technical background in accounting (IFRS preferred), controlling, and financial governance, including planning and financial modeling.
  • •Experience with internal controls, compliance frameworks, audit processes, and developing finance teams across multiple countries.
