Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate heavy equipment (forklifts, loaders, cranes, rough-terrain vehicles) to support equipment turn-in and cargo movement.
  • •Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers while following Army and DOT securement standards.
  • •Perform PMCS before, during, and after use; report deficiencies and coordinate repairs using Army technical manuals.
  • •Adhere to Army and OSHA safety regulations, ensuring safe lifting, load balancing, securement, and handling of hazardous/sensitive materiel.
  • •Maintain operator logs and inspection/usage records, support documentation and audit readiness (e.g., DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, ISO 9001:2015), and coordinate with supply/transportation teams.

Salary: USD 21.33 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Operate heavy equipment in a military or contractor environment, with 2–4 years of experience preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license required and Army OF 346 equipment operator’s license required (or ability to obtain).
  • •Forklift/MHE certification preferred.
  • •Proficiency operating multiple types of heavy equipment (including forklifts and rough-terrain vehicles) and the ability to read and follow Army TMs and work orders.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility; basic English reading and writing proficiency required.
