Key Responsibilities

  • •Actively contribute to innovation and concept generation. Help to Identify unmet needs and business opportunities, then propose and pitch innovative new product concepts or technologies.
  • •Lead projects by running regular sprint meetings, involving relevant team members, setting actions, and maintaining/updating timelines and objectives.
  • •Set and manage technical budgets and high-level requirements (e.g. pressure, power, flow, performance targets), optimising them to ensure performance / claims targets are met.
  • •Select and specify key components and architecture balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability.
  • •Collaborate with upstream technology teams, external suppliers, and internal electronics, design, and software teams to mature and transition technologies to delivery-ready status.

Key Requirements

  • •A first degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, electronic, or software engineering.
  • •Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a product or technical development environment, with proven success in relevant engineering fields.
  • •Curious problem solver and innovator – Must demonstrate experience solving technical challenges with novel solutions, including rapid prototyping and a fail-fast approach.
  • •Multi-disciplinary capability – Expected strengths across design, CAD, coding, electronics, systems, and mechatronics.
  • •Electro-mechanical expertise – Demonstrates an understanding of airflow, acoustics, electronic architecture and how requirements interact across complex systems.
