Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic asset management advisory as a trusted partner, translating complex operational/engineering/performance information into clear insights for senior decision-makers.
  • •Lead delivery of asset management projects and embed improved processes, asset information practices, and value-based decision-making frameworks with client teams.
  • •Conduct asset management maturity assessments using IAM 10-box, GFMAM, and ISO-based approaches (using AMCL recognised tools and methodologies).
  • •Support clients’ adoption and transition to ISO 55001:2024, including governance and lifecycle alignment with data-driven decision-making.
  • •Lead lifecycle and TotEx optimization and contribute to AMP8 framework commitments through strategic asset planning, risk-based prioritisation, and resilience improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years’ experience in asset management, strategy & planning, reliability engineering, or performance improvement, preferably in regulated sectors such as water, energy, transport, or defence.
  • •Strong understanding of the UK water regulatory landscape, including Ofwat and performance commitments/asset health measures.
  • •Ability to interpret asset and performance data to inform decisions.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver practical, evidence-based recommendations.
  • •Confident communicator comfortable engaging with engineers, analysts, and executive leaders; collaborative mindset across client and Turner & Townsend/AMCL teams.
