Key Responsibilities

  • •Productize datacenter cooling solution/configuration requirements with customers across L10 and L11, incorporating them into design.
  • •Develop and validate solution overviews with engineering, propose BOM/SKUs, and shape offers based on technical requirements.
  • •Design liquid cooling solutions spanning different geographic areas and design air/liquid/other cooling solutions based on datacenter and customer requirements.
  • •Conduct experiments and test plans, guide analysis and interpretation, and advise on materials selection, architectures, and manufacturability trade-offs.
  • •Develop technical best practices and templates to raise quality, and partner with stakeholders on remediation plans and governance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 130,900 - 169,400

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on thermal science, fluid dynamics, or heat transfer, with 7+ years of related experience.
  • •Advanced knowledge of heat transfer and the ability to analyze component/system-level thermal problems using advanced cooling technologies.
  • •Experience with thermal testing, flow and thermal measurement techniques, and using FEA, CAD, and CFD tools to optimize thermal solutions.
  • •Ability to collaborate with Dell technology partners and supply base, including working with ODMs on mechanical/thermal/electrical system design.
  • •Ability to understand competitive and business needs, including manufacturing/tolerance requirements and authoring architecture specifications.
