Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the key day-to-day client interface and ensure client objectives are met through cost management services.
  • •Negotiate change orders, reconcile changes, and coordinate accurate cost information for cost discussions, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • •Produce and present cost plans and updates through design milestones; deliver monthly cost reports to the client.
  • •Manage cost impact, contingency management, commitment tracking logs, and post-contract cost variances/change control processes.
  • •Review contractor and subcontractor pricing, lead negotiations for fair contract prices, support final accounts, and coach/mentor talent.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in cost management, cost engineering, estimating, or project controls supporting major capital construction projects.
  • •Lead cost management on medium to large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Support large-scale industrial, manufacturing, commercial, energy, transportation, or infrastructure construction programs.
  • •Strong knowledge of estimating, cost forecasting, change management, earned value management, and project controls principles.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a construction/cost management/quantity surveying/engineering-related field; RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
