Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, review, and negotiate contracts in Thai and English with clients, insurers, vendors, and partners, including commercial agreements and real estate deals.
  • •Serve as the Thailand compliance contact by rolling out global and regional policies locally and advising on conduct, financial crime, and AML/CTF requirements.
  • •Oversee conflict of interest, gifts, and entertainment reviews, and embed conduct and data privacy standards into daily operations.
  • •Monitor Thai legal and regulatory developments, maintain engagement with regulators and authorities, and support disputes and complaints.
  • •Translate global and regional policies into practical, Thailand-specific guidance, deliver training on regulatory/governance topics, and assist with internal and external audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified Thai lawyer with approximately 7 to 10+ years of post-qualification experience in legal and compliance roles.
  • •Strong grasp of Thailand’s legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • •Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in both Thai and English.
  • •Familiarity with compliance and financial crime frameworks, including third-party risk, AML/CTF, and conduct requirements.
  • •Good judgment and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and partner with local and regional teams.
