Key Responsibilities

  • •Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to grow the transport planning and consulting practice, aligning team objectives with broader business goals and delivering client relations excellence.
  • •Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key clients including public sector agencies and infrastructure operators; provide strategic, innovative, sustainable solutions and represent the firm at events.
  • •Project Delivery: Oversee delivery of complex transport planning projects, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence with technical oversight and regulatory compliance.
  • •Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities, lead bids/proposals, and collaborate across lines to secure multidisciplinary projects.
  • •Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop transport planners and consultants; foster collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • •Membership in professional bodies such as CIHT or TPS.
  • •Extensive experience in transport planning with a proven track record in winning work and leading teams.
  • •Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of transport planning principles, policies, and regulations in the UK&I region.
