Key Responsibilities

•Advise HR and Recruiting on privacy requirements for collection, use, and retention of employee and candidate data (background checks, assessments, and hiring records).
•Review and negotiate vendor contracts and DPAs with HR technology vendors and third-party processors handling workforce data.
•Advise on cross-border data transfers, including transfer impact assessments and safeguards under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, BIIPA, and other laws.
•Counsel on privacy considerations for AI-assisted recruiting tools, ATS, automated decision-making, and workforce analytics.
•Support employee-facing privacy notices, data subject rights requests, and HR data governance policies.

•J.D. degree from an accredited law school with strong academic performance.
