Job Summary

Install, service, and troubleshoot Vivint smart home technology while acting as the face of the brand. Evaluate customer homes, recommend and sell equipment upgrades and service enhancements on-site, and educate homeowners on how to use their new systems. Work with paid virtual and on-the-job training, coaching, and support, along with tools and mobile equipment to deliver a safe, customer-first experience in the Amarillo area.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
•Evaluate customer homes and recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
•Train homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
•Conduct a safety analysis of every home to ensure a safe workplace for technicians and customers.
•Advance through consistent coaching and leadership training within the national organization.

Key Requirements

•A sales mindset with experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales (major plus).
•A customer-first attitude, building rapport with diverse customers and acting with integrity.
•Experience that shows technical aptitude; cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful.
•A valid driver’s license and a good driving record, with ability to pass post-offer background investigation and licensing requirements.
•Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs, climb ladders up to 14 feet, and work in confined spaces like attics.
