Job Summary

Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve plant electrical, controls, and automation systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Diagnose issues across PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, industrial networks, robotics, servo and motion control systems, and related electrical/electromechanical equipment. Perform preventive/predictive maintenance, manage wiring and documentation (including MOC), and collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and vendors. Support reliability and food-safety compliance in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant electrical, controls, and automation systems.
•Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical, and control system failures using root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions independently.
•Support PLC-based systems, including diagnostics, downloads/uploads, and modifications.
•Install and modify electrical wiring and control components, execute MOC processes, and maintain accurate documentation.
•Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, maintain repair/calibration/inspection records, and support reliability and waste reduction initiatives.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED plus vocational/technical training in electrical, electronics, or industrial controls, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
•Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and repair complex control systems.
•5+ years of PLC troubleshooting experience using Ladder Logic.
•Experience with Allen-Bradley hardware and software platforms.
•Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime, and participate in ongoing technical training.
