Job Summary

Join SpaceX as a CNC Machinist for Starlink on the 2nd shift, performing setup and operation of multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes up to 5-axis mills and 6-axis lathes) to produce tight-tolerance aerospace components. You’ll read blueprints, run GD&T, and contribute to a high-precision production environment supporting Starlink’s global satellite network.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to 5-axis mills and 6-axis lathes.
•Perform drilling, tapping, milling and turning operations per blueprints or verbal instructions.
•Complete machining operations from blueprints and drawings with high precision and tight tolerances.
•Machining of complex parts across various materials while maintaining quality standards.
•Handle material prep, deburring, chip removal, oiling machines and general organization tasks.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency certificate
•3+ years of experience in the setup and operation of CNC machines

•Horizontal Mill experience or live tooling experience on lathes (preferred)
