Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate F135 propulsion system maintenance activities with Pratt & Whitney, flight line operating areas, squadron, and Lockheed Martin maintenance operating areas.
  • •Perform controls activities including aircraft download processing/analysis, propulsion software loads, activations, prognostic health monitoring, engine health reporting codes, and Maintenance Built In Test Systems (MBITS).
  • •Advise and assist customers with F135 propulsion system maintenance following technical data and safe engine operation/maintenance procedures, including fault isolation/troubleshooting and repair actions.
  • •Provide short-notice domestic and international backfill when not supporting the Vermont Air National Guard, adapting to local processes and standards.
  • •Work autonomously as the sole FSE and rotate between first and second shift schedules to meet customer and team objectives.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional experience (with a degree) in engine/aircraft maintenance, logistics, and logistics support, including supply chain and support equipment management.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance.
  • •U.S. citizenship required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a secret clearance.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred (non-technical degrees or experience in lieu of a degree may be considered with 12+ years engine/aircraft maintenance and logistics).
  • •Position requires up to 50% travel.
