Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage litigation matters including product liability, consumer class actions, and commercial litigation, covering pre-litigation resolution, discovery requests, and related processes.
  • •Provide advice and recommendations to senior management and the Head of Litigation on strategy, case management, and resolution.
  • •Drive strategy, execution, and management of outside counsel for litigation and government investigation matters.
  • •Manage the company’s response to government investigations and support internal investigations involving potential litigation exposure.
  • •Work cross-functionally to mitigate litigation risk and ensure compliance with litigation and regulatory obligations.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant litigation legal experience, with at least 5 years of law firm experience.
  • •Juris Doctorate from a top law school and admission to at least one state bar in good standing, with ability to be admitted to practice in Texas.
  • •Substantial pre-trial and trial experience, including coordinating/responding to discovery requests and managing e-discovery in complex matters.
  • •Substantial experience drafting, editing, and supervising pleadings at all stages of litigation.
  • •Knowledge of preferred substantive areas (e.g., class actions, mass arbitrations, product liability, general commercial litigation, and government investigations).
