Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage customer information and provide analytical/data science deliverables for CRM and banking initiatives, supporting AMH activities.
  • •Identify trends from customer data, develop analytics solutions that support business goals, and collaborate with relevant teams to incorporate insights.
  • •Build and apply descriptive/predictive data mining models (e.g., decision trees, clustering, logistic regression, gradient boosting, neural networks, random forest, SVM) and deliver actionable findings.
  • •Use tools to extract, collect, manipulate, and analyze raw customer data; interpret and present results to support business investigations and decision-making.
  • •Elevate CRM capabilities by tailoring messaging strategies/journeys to GC customer needs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and HSBC standards, and manage timely stakeholder communication.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s (minimum 6+ years experience) or Master’s in quantitative disciplines such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Physics, or related fields focused on analytics/optimization.
  • •Excellent hands-on analytical skills to analyze complex data, identify trends/opportunities, form hypotheses, and deliver recommendations.
  • •Mature, independent professional to drive analytics workstreams with minimal oversight.
  • •Proven knowledge/experience of SQL, Python, and database/data manipulation tools (e.g., MaxCompute).
  • •Experience with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., QlikSense, Tableau) and analytics tools such as Python/R/SAS/SPSS/Stata.
