Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and steer processes for the full IT hardware asset lifecycle across business areas, from procurement to decommissioning.
  • •Ensure sustainable IT asset management by owning the toolset, governance, quality assurance, and operations of the processes.
  • •Set up a robust process and role structure (e.g., inventory tracking and compliance checks) so responsibilities are clear end-to-end.
  • •Analyze service contracts and license/maintenance models to create transparent cost structures and proactively manage risks and costs.
  • •Use and optimize data from CMDB/ITAM and reports to support decisions, identify automation opportunities, reduce errors, and improve data/process quality and efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Engineering, IT Management, or equivalent, plus several years of professional experience.
  • •Experience in IT asset, contract, or infrastructure management, with basic knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, cloud basics).
  • •Affinity for tools such as CMDB (e.g., ServiceNow) and ITAM solutions, plus analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
  • •Fluent German and English in speaking and writing.
  • •Enjoyment of processes, independent and goal-oriented working style, and strong teamwork.
